Shipping Information
At Partastar AU, we aim to make energy storage accessible to every home and vehicle across Australia.
1. Shipping Rates & Zones
Free Standard Shipping: Available for most battery products to major metro areas in NSW, VIC, QLD, ACT, and SA.
WA, NT, and Remote/Regional Areas: Shipping to these locations may incur additional freight charges. We will contact you with a quote if additional fees apply to your order.
2. Delivery Methods (DG Compliance)
Road Freight Only: In compliance with Australian Dangerous Goods (DG) transport requirements, all lithium battery products are shipped via specialized road freight carriers.
No PO Boxes: Due to the nature of our products, we cannot deliver to PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers. A physical street address is required for all orders.
3. Delivery Times
Handling Time: Orders are dispatched within 1-3 business days after payment confirmation.
Transit Time: Estimated delivery is 3–10 business days, depending on your location.
4. Oversized & Heavy Items
For heavy battery modules, delivery is generally to the kerbside or driveway. Please ensure someone is available to assist or that the site has clear access. Additional charges may apply if a tailgate lift service is required.
5. Warehouse Pickup
We offer free local pickup from our warehouse by appointment only. Please contact us to schedule a time once your order is confirmed.
Return Policy
At Partastar AU, we are committed to providing high-quality energy storage solutions. Our return policy is designed to be fair and compliant with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
1. Australian Consumer Law Guarantees
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced.
2. Change of Mind Returns
We offer a 30-day return window from the date of delivery.
Condition: Items must be unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging with all accessories.
Restocking Fee: Returns that are opened, or show signs of installation/handling, may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 15% to cover testing and repackaging costs.
Return Shipping: For change-of-mind, the buyer is responsible for all shipping costs.
3. Shipping & Handling for Returns
Defective or Damaged Items: If the product arrives damaged or is faulty, Partastar AU will cover the cost of return shipping.
Dangerous Goods (DG) Compliance: Because lithium batteries are classified as Class 9 Dangerous Goods, they cannot be returned via standard Australia Post or regular couriers. They must be transported by certified DG carriers in original or approved DG packaging.
4. How to Return a Battery
Due to safety regulations, please do not attempt to ship batteries back without contacting us first. * We can assist in arranging a certified DG courier pickup at your expense (for change-of-mind) or our expense (for faulty items).
Any return sent via a non-certified carrier will be rejected for safety and legal reasons.
5. Refund Process
Inspection: Once received, our technicians will inspect the product (typically within 5-7 business days).
Payment: Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method. Please allow an additional 3-5 days for your bank to process the transaction.
